Depending on the species, the kits are sent off to you about a week or two before mushrooms are expected to form. This product is better suited for those that have attended our mushroom growing classes or who have experienced fruiting mushrooms before as you are expected to have a suitable growing environment ready to receive these kits when you place the order. Your grow area should be set up to provide humidity, fresh air exchange, suitable lighting and a suitable temperature range. DESCRIPTION: Bulk Oyster Mushroom Grow Kits
This bulk 10kg order is divided into 3 – 5 separate ready to fruit bags. Each bag is produced by inoculating high quality substrates with our most prolific Oyster mushroom cultures under sterile laboratory conditions.
- INCUBATION: We allow the mycelium to run and ship the kits off to you approximately one week before fruiting is expected to begin.
- PREPARATION OF YOUR GROW AREA
To successfully fruit a bulk order, you are expected to have a suitable growing environment ready to receive it. Your grow area must meet the specific environmental requirements of the mushroom. These parameters are provided upon placement of your order to give you sufficient time to prepare. While we do offer dedicated classes on setting up grow rooms, we do not provide additional grow room set up information along with bulk orders. And though simple spray bottles and plastic bag humidity tents can work for a successful grow, we believe that they are inadequate for a bountiful bulk grow. It is also ]unsafe to carry out bulk grows in your home. Oyster mushrooms release billions of nearly invisible of spores that can have adverse health effects when they are inhaled. - HARVEST: Depending on the specific variety, you can expect 2 to 3 flushes over a 4-to-6-week period.
- SEASONAL VARIETIES: We can produce Pink, Blue, Pearl, White, and Grey Oyster kits, matching the specific kit to the current season’s climate.
- COURIER: Overnight courier shipping is recommended to limit transit stress on the cultures.
- RECYCLING: Once mushroom production decreases significantly or stops, you may use the kit to enrich the soil in your garden or further expand it to grow more mushrooms by inoculating suitable substrates. If you choose to expand the kit, please ensure that you are 100% certain that the correct species of mushroom has formed in the new grow before consumption.
